At Mr. Black Studio, we deliver custom digital design, website development, and ongoing technical management tailored specifically to each business. Because our services involve dedicated time, expertise, and custom digital assets, we enforce a strict No Refund Policy.
1. General No Refund Policy All payments are final: Once a payment, deposit, retainer, or monthly subscription fee is made, it is strictly non-refundable. Work in progress: We do not issue partial or full refunds if you decide to cancel a project mid-way, change your mind, or no longer need the site after work has started. Third-party fees: Any costs paid to third parties on your behalf (such as custom domain purchases, platform licenses, Framer plans, or third-party plugins) are non-refundable under any circumstances.
2. Website Project Cancellations If you wish to cancel a web development or custom design project: You must notify us in writing via email or direct message. Work will stop immediately upon receiving your cancellation notice. Any unpaid invoices for work already completed up to the cancellation date remain due and payable. Completed design files and final website transfers will only be released if the account is paid in full.
3. Monthly Subscription Cancellations (Essential, Growth, & Black Plans) 30-Day Notice: You can cancel your recurring monthly maintenance plan (Essential, Growth, or Black) at any time by giving us 30 days' written notice before your next billing cycle. No Partial Billing: If you cancel halfway through a month you have already paid for, your plan will remain active until the end of that billing cycle. No partial or prorated refunds will be given for unused days. Service Handover: Upon cancellation, ongoing maintenance, SEO tracking, domain management, and technical updates will stop at the end of your billing cycle.
4. Failed Payments & Service Suspensions Subscriptions and maintenance plans are billed automatically in advance. If a payment fails or an invoice goes overdue, we will grant a short grace period to update your billing details. If payment is not settled within 7 days, Mr. Black Studio reserves the right to suspend ongoing maintenance, pause active design updates, or disconnect managed domain/hosting services until the balance is cleared. Suspended periods are non-refundable.
5. Client Delays & Paused Projects A project depends on timely input, text content, media, and feedback from your side. If a project is delayed on the client’s end for more than 30 consecutive days without prior notice, the project will be placed on hold. Deposits and prior payments for on-hold projects are non-refundable. To restart a paused project after 30 days, a re-activation fee may apply to re-schedule development time.
